Setting a scien­ti­fi­cally based climate goal is becoming incre­a­singly important to show
that one as a company takes the climate issue seri­ously. However, many companies
are grappling with chal­lenges in planning, the appli­cation process and the work to
achieve the goals. 

The SBT Nordic Forum has grown out of this common need to
manage such chal­lenges, and the pursuit of together being able to acce­lerate climate
work further. Together we will raise the level of know­ledge, inspire each other and
share expe­ri­ences and solu­tions. The SBT Nordic Forum will be a platform to jointly
meet the needs of business in the climate transition.

What does parti­ci­pation in the forum entail?
As parti­ci­pants in the forum, companies can take part in a number of annual acti­vities,
which aim to raise the level of know­ledge and spur colla­bo­ration within indu­stries and
value chains.
The forum’s acti­vities are shaped according to the members’ needs and
expecta­tions, in consul­tation with the steering group. A number of general focus
areas have, however, been determined:

• Trai­nings and workshops
• Colla­bo­ration and networking
• Business intel­li­gence
• Inspi­ration and communication
• Deve­lopment of a platform for dialogue with SBTi
